The classic album was mastered at AIR by Phil Kinrade. It was the last album to feature the band's guitarist and co-songwriter Bernard Butler. Art and design for this new format has been undertaken for The London Suede by official designer and photographer Paul Khera and includes new sleeve notes by Cure / Manic Street Preachers biographer Simon Price.
